Having spent a lifetime working as an advertising, fashion and editorial photographer, working all over the globe from Iraq to Japan, I then was offered a load of broken toys for one of my still life photographs. I decided to work them into a series of 3D pieces which led to my working on the 'Minotaur' series, which have sold well and have been shown (and sold) at previous Bath Society of Arts show, plus winning the international sculpture prize at the 2023 London Biennale.
