Paper and Dye

The images I produce are a direct, emotional response to the landscapes I draw, they are concerned with the refinement of image and colour and the creation of space. I work form charcoal sketches, using an unusual layered mono print method that results in a saturation of colour. This work uses textile dyes and hand made cotton paper and depicts the Cam Brook Valley, situated South of Bath.
